Lead Generation

Lead Tracking That Follows Leads Into Your CRM

We track forms, calls and bookings, then connect them to what happens in your CRM, so ad platforms learn from qualified leads, not just form fills.

Challenges

Why Lead Tracking Misleads Campaigns

A form submission is not a customer. When tracking stops at the thank-you page, campaigns optimise toward volume instead of value.

Leads that never close

Spam, duplicates and tags that fire on form views all count as conversions and pull bidding toward low-quality traffic.

Calls go untracked

For many service businesses the phone brings the best leads, yet calls from ads and the website are often missing from reports.

Embedded forms

HubSpot, Typeform and booking widgets run inside iframes, so standard triggers never see the submission.

No link to the CRM

Without a stored click ID, a lead that becomes a sale can never be sent back to the ad platform that produced it.

Recommended setup

The Setup We Recommend for Lead Generation

Four layers, each doing one job. Together they give every platform the same, validated version of what happened.

01

Lead data layer

A success event pushed only after a valid submission, with the form name and lead source attached.

02

GTM web container

Listeners for embedded forms and booking tools, click-to-call tracking and hidden fields that store gclid, gbraid and fbclid.

03

Server events and CAPI

Lead events to Meta with hashed contact details where consent allows, plus server-side forwarding for accuracy.

04

CRM feedback loop

Lead stages from your CRM mapped to GA4 lead events and imported into Google Ads and Meta as offline conversions.

FAQ

Lead Generation Tracking Questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

Yes. These tools send messages from inside their embeds. We listen for the completed submission or booking and push it to the data layer as a lead event.

We store the click ID with each lead. When the lead reaches a qualified or won stage in your CRM, that stage is imported into Google Ads or sent to Meta, linked to the original click.

Conversions fire only on validated submissions, test entries are blocked, and the primary goal moves to qualified leads, so spam no longer steers bidding.

For offline conversions, yes. Most CRMs can store click IDs and export or sync stage changes. We work with what you have.

Taps on phone links are tracked on the site, and Google Ads call conversions or a call tracking provider can measure calls from ads with a minimum duration.
